Mirror Disks and Kits for Sale! Mirror Disks and Kits for Sale!
Description: I recently purchased a large quantity of 7/8th's thick plate glass and I'm offering mirror blanks for sale to my fellow ATM's at what I think is a good price. This glass would be ideal for making large, lightweight travel scopes, like the 16" shown recently in Sky&Telescope (August 1999), which used even thinner glass for it's primary mirror. In fact, after some very close examination, I'm using a sheet of 1/2" to build a 16" Schmidt corrector lens.
